Low Temperature PVC Air & Water Hose
GENERAL APPLICATIONS
- General air supply line for pneumatic tools and paint spray systems
- Ideal for in-plant applications requiring color coding of hose supply lines
- Low pressure spray hose for water-soluble chemicals
- Outdoor applications requiring a low temperature hose
- Transfer of air, water and mild water-soluble chemicals
CONSTRUCTION
- Tube – Black phthalate free PVC
- Reinforcement – Spiral polyester yarn with additional longitudinal yarns
- Cover – Phthalate free PVC. Available in five colors: K1131 (Yellow), K1134 (Red), K1136 (Blue), K1137(Green), K1138 (Gray)
SERVICE TEMPERATURE RANGE
-40°F (-40°C) to +150°F (+65°C)
FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES
- Cold Flex Materials – Remains flexible and easy to handle in sub-zero temperatures to -40˚F (-40˚C).
- Rubber Alternative – PVC hose with the look and feel of rubber.
- UV and Weather Resistant – Opaque cover resists damage from UV light and weather aging.
- Abrasion Resistant PVC – Durable PVC holds up better than rubber air hoses when dragged.
- Medium Oil Resistance – Meets ARPM Class B rating for medium oil resistance. Remains flexible when exposed to oils. Won’t dry out or crack like other PVC hoses.
- Lightweight – Lighter weight reduces worker fatigue.
- Perforated, Non-Marking Cover – Can be dragged over flooring without leaving marks typical of rubber hoses.
- Longitudinal Reinforcement – Additional longitudinal yarns reduce elongation and improve coupling retention.
