Oil Resistant High Pressure Wire & Yarn Reinforced Suction/Discharge Hose

GENERAL APPLICATIONS

  • Batch plants
  • Constant flex applications
  • Liquid chemical handling
  • Mining applications (MSHA)
  • Oil field water hauling
  • Suction & discharge of water and slurries
  • Tank trucks
  • Transfer of petroleum and other oil based

CONSTRUCTION

  • Tube – Clear phthalate free PVC/Polyurethane blend
  • Reinforcement – Galvanized steel wire helix, high tensile strength yarn reinforcement
  • Cover – Black phthalate free PVC/Polyurethane blend

COMPLIANCE INFORMATION

In compliance with applicable FDA(03) and Phthalate Free(13) requirements. Meets MSHA(08) and RoHS(14) criteria

SERVICE TEMPERATURE RANGE

-5°F (-20°C) to +150°F (+65°C)*

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

  • High Oil Resistance – Meets ARPM Class A rating for high oil resistance. Remains flexible when exposed to oils. Won’t dry out or crack like other PVC hoses.
  • MSHA Accepted IC-318/02 – Cover material accepted by MSHA IC-318/02 as having met the requirements for acceptance of flame-resistant solid products taken into mines for hoses transferring air, oil, water or other fluids.
  • Steel Wire Reinforcement – Electrogalvanized steel wire reinforcement prevents kinking and collapsing.
  • Braided Fabric Reinforcement – High tensile strength, food grade, polyester yarn braid provides higher working pressures.
  • Increased Pressure Rating – Heavy duty construction results in a highly durable product, designed for both indoor and demanding outdoor applications.
  • High Cycle Strength – Designed to resist damage from constant flex applications.
  • Abrasion Resistant PVC/Polyurethane Cover – Designed for applications where severe abrasion is a factor. Provides for longer hose life and lower operating costs versus rubber or PVC hoses.
  • Grounding Wire – Steel wire can be grounded to help prevent the build-up of static electricity for added safety (see below‡).

NOTES:
† Working Pressure decreases as temperature increases. Pressure ratings can only be obtained with proper coupling procedures.

CAUTION:
‡ This product is designed to dissipate static electricity when the metal wire is properly connected to ground, through the fitting or other means. Hose is not to be used in combustible situations unless it has been determined by the end user the application is not sufficient to result in propagating brush discharge.

Because we continually examine ways to improve our products, we reserve the right to alter specifications or discontinue products without prior notice.
