Heavy Duty Food Grade Polyurethane Tubing

GENERAL APPLICATIONS

  • Abrasive slurry transfer
  • Feed and return lines
  • Granular transfer lines
  • Lubrication lines
  • Metering pumps
  • Robotics control lines
  • Transfer of air and fluids under severe conditions

CONSTRUCTION

Phthalate Free clear 98 Shore “A” Durometer ether based polyurethane

COMPLIANCE INFORMATION

In compliance with applicable FDA(03) requirements and RoHS(15) criteria

SERVICE TEMPERATURE RANGE

-40°F (-40°C) to +175°F (+80°C)

FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES

  • High Oil Resistance – Meets ARPM Class A rating for high oil resistance. Remains flexible when exposed to oils. Won’t dry out or crack like other PVC tubing.
  • Highly Abrasion Resistant – Designed for applications where severe abrasion is a factor. Provides for longer tubing life and lower operating costs versus rubber or PVC tubing.
  • Moderate Chemical Resistance – Good resistance to oils greases and lubricants. Not recommended for use with many chemicals. See Chemical Resistance Guide for details.
  • Transparent – Allows for visual confirmation of material flow.
  • Glass-Smooth Interior – Ensures smooth flow of material and reduces material buildup.
  • Cold Flex Materials – Remains flexible and easy to handle in sub-zero temperatures.
  • High Cycle Strength – Designed to resist damage from constant flex applications.

Note: Not recommended for transfer of brake fluids.

NOTES:
† Working Pressure decreases as temperature increases. Pressure ratings can only be obtained with proper coupling procedures.
‡ When exceptional oil and fuel resistance is needed, we suggest use of Series 2810 ester-based tubing which is RoHS(15) compliant – call for details.

Because we continually examine ways to improve our products, we reserve the right to alter specifications or discontinue products without prior notice.
